Board of Director Opportunities

Make a Difference Through Board Service

Elyssa’s Mission welcomes individuals who are interested in using their experience, expertise, and community connections to help advance our mission and strengthen our organization.
Our Board of Directors provides leadership, oversight, guidance and support as Elyssa’s Mission works to expand access to suicide prevention education and peer-to-peer programs in schools. Board members serve as ambassadors for the organization and play an important role in helping us build awareness, strengthen partnerships, support fundraising efforts, and ensure the organization remains focused on its mission.

Founding EM Board Members: Carol Felsenthal, Jeanne Malnati, Joanne Meyers and Melissa Molitor

Elyssa’s Mission currently partners with approximately 350 middle and high schools in 20 counties and more than 140 suburbs, making us the premier suicide prevention educator in Illinois. Elyssa’s Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
